It seemed like this team knew they had to play perfect baseball, and it kind of feels like
Yeah, we went to the World Series.
Like, we'll be there again.
Like, and they're not saying it, but, like, the play at times looks like it, like, ah, like, that didn't show up last year.
Why is that showing up?
You know, why can't we just play really crisp baseball?
There's some fundamentals that have been a little bit loose for me that I did not see whatsoever last year, and I wonder if that has to do with the World Series.
Great question.
Oh, 100%.
Yeah.
what you learn as a youngster is look if you're not going to hit go do something on defense right and so you keep these these two areas keep pushing and pulling each other well you know i didn't get to make a play here now i gotta go make it up on offense and so you have this push and pull and like teams can slump collectively in all different areas i mean when it starts going bad the tendency is to like pull off a little bit and what happens when you pull off is like that's when you start making stupid base running mistakes and that's when
your brain takes a half a second off, and instead of really turning it a certain way and getting on top of the ball, you throw it underhand, and then it sails.
It's like being super heightened awareness, like playing at World Series level.
I don't think they've played intensity-wise at World Series level since day one.
I feel like there's a bit of a cool factor.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm wrong, but, like, I sense that, and I don't love it, to be honest with you.
Yeah.
I love the front hip sinker to left-handers that we've seen from cease as well.
That's a big development movement for a youngster.
