Their actual efficiency going inside forward 50 wasn't that great, but they just got it in there so much and so often with so much speed on the ball and so little resistance, they were able to kick a big, big score.

Yeah, and I guess at this point in his career, we probably know the answer, right?

We probably know that, you know, at age 30, that Dan McStay is not going to be the answer because he's played a lot of footy, he's well-exposed.

Now, this is less about the fact that he averages less than a goal a game across his career, which is hard to believe.

But more about the fact that his game's not necessarily suited to being a focal point.

He's more suited to being the guy who really hits up quite hard and tries to compete at halfback or on the wing and tries to take two or three contested marks per game in that area of the game.
