Because they've got so many injuries, maybe it's a subtle shift in the game style.
Let's just chip it around a little bit more than ideally we'd like to because we're down on manpower so much.
But when we get these players back...
which they have this year, and yes, they've lost a couple along the way, but for the most part, all teams get injuries.
It doesn't change the way you play the game.
They've still been way too willing for mine to kick it sideways and take uncontested marks and move the ball in a manner that's not threatening.
They've played better footy last week and certainly the week before that against Melbourne.
But that's a tipping point, right?
So they get to a point where, okay, what we're doing is not working at all.
We're getting hammered doing what we're doing.
So let's try something else.
Then you perform for a couple of weeks and you think, well, we're feeling a bit more comfortable.
Let's revert back to what we truly are.
And that's this low pressure, inability to defend any part of the ground, particularly your front half of the ground.
To be last in tackles for inside your forward 50 and be the worst team in the competition at stopping ball movement when it leaves your forward 50 and ends up in scores and field position against.
I mean, they're numbers you just don't want to be associated with.
To be last across the board is as damning as it gets.
And this is probably... Cam, Cam, this is what I'm... I'm worried this is their identity.
Their identity is low pressure, no defence.
