I mean, I guess at the moment, you know, I love, you know, the future of Shanahan and Archer Reid and Duff Titler.
You know, I think they've got enormous futures and you guys would be thrilled with what they possess athletically and the talent they've got.
But I guess as a young key position player...
What probably excites your fans the most is those young guys.
But in terms of the actual game to game, they're probably the guys who get beaten up the most and can often get taken to school a little bit by those hard and key position players.
So how do you balance their workload and how they try and play back-to-back games versus trying to look after them for the future?
Announcement during the week about Elijah Hewitt, I should say, signing a nice big five-year contract.
I guess that's par for the course these days.
But in regards to his development, tell us about what you've seen from him.
And then the second part to that question is I saw you guys live
at Norwood a couple of weeks ago, and you've got a lot of really athletic types.
You've got a lot of recycled players as well.
Can you give us a couple of names for those who might be going to the footy or listening to the game today?
Maybe some guys a little bit off Broadway who you didn't know much about but have impressed you in your short time at West Coast.
Yeah, well, he's 34 years of age.
So, you know, I think an important part for veterans and, you know, Mitch lived this life himself last year with Geelong.
And, you know, I did it in my time at Geelong as well.
It used to be 30, but now it's probably 32 to 33, 34, and wherever you get to after that is an absolute bonus.
But I think you need to enter any season once you're that age, understanding that it's unlikely.
I mean, it's unlikely you're going to play every week in the AFL because once you become a player that is marginal in regards to the outcome or the success of your team,
