I mentioned it before, I think just getting out of that playoff position mentally as a player and knowing you've got a huge game that you can then extend the gap next week in Paisley is massive for all the Killie players.
I totally agree with Simon.
I think Kilmarnock, when you look at them at the start of the season, probably weren't playing the style of football to suit their players.
And I agree with Simon as well.
When you look at what St Mirren are doing over there, trying to play a little bit more football, when these players, it's difficult to adjust the style of play during the season.
so I think Neil McCann's got it right he's got Finlay Curtis in the door which is a huge signing but obviously Joe Hugel at the top of the pitch is scoring goals they've now started to keep clean sheets Matt Stryk back in goals made a couple of good saves today so I think they're in a really good place What's Neil McCann's first instruction next week at St Minn?
I'm wanting St Mirren I think Simon's dissected it beautifully It's Star Wars The force is with Kilmarnock And it's not with St Mirren And they've become a cause for concern And if Kilmarnock win in Paisley Playoffs for St Mirren Steve Clarke was in attendance Simon Finlay Curtis always shows up when he's there He scored again today What's the likelihood that he's on that plane?
I noticed, interestingly, that Steve left as soon as Finlay had taken off.
So I think he can safely say who he was there to watch.
He was playing there today in the first half.
And then as soon as we moved him up a bit further in the second, you saw his qualities.
Finlay is just absolutely superb.
down the left and Colin in on the right yeah it was interesting because last week I was listening to the show so I'm interested to know from Gordon and Hugh because I was sitting in another little bar in Molesworth listening to you guys last week and both Gordon and Hugh said that St Mirren would stay up until tomorrow it would be 11 so I'm interested to hear if you've changed your opinion yes I have I have without a shadow doubt and the reason that I went
I think we'll all agree it's between Camargo and St Mirren but if my last penny was going on I'd probably go St Mirren See Dazzler and I Simon are both fans of John Maynard Keynes the English economist who said that when the facts change I change my mind
Yeah, Gordon Dale was just quoting that to me later on, actually.
We often speak of John Maynard.
