I have found that we are asking for very specific things via our FOIA requests, and they are pretending like we are asking them for years' worth of information, case in point.

Well, that should be pretty limited.
Because how many emails are you guys writing about Erica Kirk on the day of and the days following immediately following the White House Correspondents Center shooting?
