And we're very functionalist at the moment in lots of ways, I think, as a sort of society.
You know, people don't have these things holding them together through necessity in a way.
But it goes so much further.
It goes into all sorts of other things like music and creation and creativity, like education, design.
These things, by their very nature, conjure and create so many different things.
I mean, I've enjoyed many things.
Like, you know, I've enjoyed reading Baudelaire.
But I don't return to literature in that way.
And I don't rely on it for my work at all.
I used to read quite a lot.
I mean, I remember as a teenager enjoying all these sort of existential French novels like Camus.
And, you know, even things like I remember reading Bukowski, which I can't bear, you know, horrendous sort of sexist, awful books.
It's not that I don't want to read these things or I don't find them very fascinating.
I just don't do it anymore in the way that I used to.
So I don't really, I read the FT a lot.
My studio is littered with FT's and I find that a very good document.
I mean, I find delving into certain literature, it's sort of almost quite painful in a way.
I don't almost feel like I've got the space to do that, especially with making my work.
