My second issue here is when you do the critical appraisal of this is whether the control is okay doing nothing.

I'm not sure how you would interpret that in the context of critical appraisal, but I think it's amazing to get that past the BMJ editor.

I'm not sure if there's another journal that has a reputation for...
ridiculousness at Christmas, antics and interest and so well read as the Christmas edition.
And some of these papers can get in the top 1000 or 100 of the altmetrics, really can get in the news.
And some of them, other papers have really hit the headlines, haven't they?
