And that's how Chat with Work actually started.

So what does Chat with Work exactly do?

So Chat with Work is an AI assistant for your workplace.

Essentially, it has the same interface as ChatGPT, but you can chat with your documents.

So it has a bunch of tools.

It has a search tool, a read tool, a list tool for, for example, Google Drive.

And in the future, I'm going to expand it with multiple other services, connectors like Slack, like GitHub, like Teams, like OneDrive, potentially.

So that you can ask any questions about any of the files that you have or any of the chats that you have in these workplace software.

That's right.

So I was looking at the space of libraries.

I didn't find anything that really fit the bill.

And so I built my own.

And well, it turns out that a lot of people had the same exact wish that I had because it had a pretty bombastic response when I launched it.

I never expected any of that, but it turns out that the taste and the kind of style of programming that I, you know, infuse into Ruby LM is exactly what people were expecting out of a Ruby library that can help you talk with AI.

And I think it's because I made it for myself, right?

That's the secret sauce.

And I made it in a way that I wanted to use it.
