But to everyone else, you just look completely normal. And they might think that this is just all in your head and a delusion that you've got. So that's why I gave the book that title, because I felt it really encapsulated the feeling of what it's like to have hypochondria.

It does. And I would say largely it's been very positive. I'm not sure that I could recommend writing a book as a treatment to everyone with hypochondria, but it's certainly been good for me.

That was a very good realization for me that I could do this and it could actually have a good outcome instead of a bad one was maybe the culmination of a lot of therapy of doing hard things to find out what the outcome is and then finding that actually they're not that bad after all.
