At least 10 people are dead and 25 others injured after a mass shooting in a remote town in Western Canada.
Eight people died after shots were fired at a school in Tumbler Ridge in British Columbia, including a woman whom police believe to be the shooter.
Authorities say that two more people were found dead at a nearby home.
British Columbia's Premier David Eby told reporters that police officers reached the school within two minutes.
He spoke at a press conference after the shooting.
David Eby was speaking as police say they are not yet releasing the identity of the suspected attacker.
In a statement on social media, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that he was devastated by the mass shooting, which is Canada's deadliest since 2020.
Carney's office said that he is suspending a planned trip to Germany for the Munich Security Conference.
