And I'm like, you know what?
I'm not going to school anymore.
So I stopped going to sixth grade.
What does your dad say?
I mean, my parents are trying to do as much as they can
but they're dealing with my brother who just got carted away to juvie for a year and a half.
They're dealing with my two younger siblings.
So I feel like a certain part, I kind of fell by the wayside as in like, Carter doesn't want to go to school.
Like, okay, he's not going to go to school, but you know, I got to drive 12 hours into Pittsburgh to, to visit, you know, my oldest son.
And then, you know, things are going on with, you know, my mom and my dad, my mom ended up moving out at this time again.
And yeah,
And yeah, so I don't go to school the whole six, you know, the whole rest of sixth grade.
Fast forward to seventh grade.
You know, I remember having like an IEP meeting at the beginning of school.
And I was like, look, Carter, we're going to put you in this alternative school.
And I think you'll like it.
Let's see how it goes.
So at this point, I'm like, OK, I guess I got to go to school because I want to eventually graduate.
Right.
And they're like, look, you're going to go to GB for truancy if you don't go to school.
