He walked backwards.

Cheryl's eyes never left his until she noticed the bloody knife still in her hands.

Both Lana's mother and the doctor tried to resuscitate Johnny to no avail.

Finally, anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours after the stabbing, depending on your source, they called the police.

And with the police came Lana's greatest fear, the media.

One paparazzo even talked his way into the house, standing with the cops in the bedroom crime scene.

Soon, the whole world would know Lana Turner's mobster boyfriend was dead, killed by her teenage daughter.
