I think Underscore and I were the two biggest 12-inch MacBook fans and possibly the only 12-inch MacBook fans.
Yeah, that's right.
That's right.
But I love that thing.
Like, it was a piece of trash.
It was one of those things like when it was brand new, it was awful.
But I loved it because especially compared to the contemporary machines at the time,
It was impossibly thin and impossibly light.
And the fact that it was woefully underpowered, and the fact that, to my recollection, the battery life was not great, and more than anything else, it had only one USB-C port, not Thunderbolt, mind you, USB-C port, which made everything difficult.
I still love that computer.
I absolutely adored that computer because it felt amazing.
portable in a way that no other computer I've ever owned has ever felt that portable.
Aaron has an M1 MacBook Air.
I also really like that computer, but it feels like a boat compared to the 12-inch MacBook.
It was just unbelievably light and cool and fun.
And I would love for them to go that route, but I think this is just going to be something that's smaller and cheaper and mostly unremarkable.
Yeah, that's a big difference.
I do love the Magic Keyboard and iPad combination, but you're right.
It is not light by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm excited to see how next week turns out.
