Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
So I encourage you to check in with yourself from time to time, even if it's just a few moments a day.
That's something I've started to incorporate in my routine recently.
So my practice is just taking a few moments a day, it can be any time of the day, just to check in with myself and I'm asking things like, how am I feeling today?
What was my energy like?
How was my mood?
How were my interactions with others?
What felt great today?
What mattered?
And one simple moment of gratitude.
One thing I'm grateful for in that day.
So obviously this is not a magical practice and knowledge alone won't change anything for you.
But taking that awareness, just a few small moments, can help you be intentional in making choices for yourself going forward.
And when you start taking intentional actions, even if they're only small, as opposed to being on autopilot all the time, never taking moments of awareness.
When you start to be intentional with your actions, you're going to feel more like you're experiencing your life.
You might start to notice that time doesn't rush by as fast.
So when you get a chance, I encourage you to take a few moments to just notice.
Because this is life, it's not the highlight reel, it's not the future version, it's not the when things settle down version.
This here right now is our life.
Maybe it's about being present enough to feel meaning in what we're actually doing.
