It doesn't just have a main character.
It has an ecosystem of main characters.
I love novels like that that are interactive.
Richard Powers' The Overstory.
I think it's coming out in about two weeks.
I got an advance reading copy online.
I love Richard Powers.
Because I'm trained as a scientist, I'm really drawn to writers who incorporate science into their fiction.
There are very few because most of us have to choose in our education.
We kind of go toward the humanities or toward the scientists.
And a lot of, I think a lot of writers kind of fled from chemistry, you know, and never looked back.
So there aren't a lot of writers who have an understanding of science yet.
and who bring that to their fiction.
But that's because that's something that I do that I think is really important.
I really enjoy other writers who do it.
So Richard Powers is one.
Andrea Barrett is another.
She mostly writes, well, she's written both short stories and novels.
So that's something I really love is fiction that can explain science.
You're so welcome.
