It's another saga, which is always fun, as we've just talked about.
But I first came across Karen's work in her short story called We Live On In Story in the After Australia anthology.
And I just thought it was really brilliant.
Even though that was a short story, that was a saga too.
And yeah, I'm just really looking forward to reading her writing because it was, she writes beautifully.

Well, let's start in the beginning.
That seems like a prudent way to go about it.
Now, I was a voracious reader as a kid, as I suppose most authors are.
It was a way to be kind of safely explorative.
I wasn't the bravest child, and so it was an amazing way for me to independently explore new grounds and enter new worlds.
It was just something I always did very independently.
No one ever had to urge me
As far as parents are concerned, in the 80s and 90s, if you were reading, you could just be left alone.
So it was something I was always drawn towards.
But I was drawn towards some unusual books, I suppose.
