How do you describe the genres that you write in?
Yeah, I've often thought that about Harry Potter and how much morality and, well, yeah, I guess myth-making is going on for the kids of the generations now that have grown up with those books.
What do you reckon?
Do they measure up to Harry and crew, measure up to Hercules et al.?
The other aspect to that, I guess, is JK Rowling's comments in the last year or so about women who are transgender.
And that has been a kind of fascinating one to watch from afar.
But I imagine for children who grew up reading her books, who are in that kind of situation themselves,
That must be a really big, I don't know, betrayal for them.
This is something that's, you know, part of your life as well.
And I guess I'm just wondering how you feel about that.
Yeah, she may, although she does seem to be digging in right now.
