Great question. Multiple questions. So athletes, listen up. You definitely want to be taking spirulina and chlorella. First, to answer your quick question, all algae does have protein in it. Spirulina is known for having the highest. So ours is 64% protein by weight. Chlorella has 60% protein. Wow.

And the reason why it's important for everyone, but particularly athletes to know, is because there is no cellulose wall for your body to break down to get access to the protein or any of the other 40 vitamins and minerals.
