This is the first time, actually, that NATO fighter jets, which have already been stationed in that Baltic area alongside the Russian border, have actually gone into action and shot down a drone that had entered NATO airspace in eastern Latvia.
We've been hearing a lot of these, haven't we, Heather, the last couple of weeks, of Russian drones in particular straying into places like Finland,
Finland, Romania, Moldova, and also Lithuania and Estonia.
But this is actually the first time that jets have gone up there, shot it down.
For what they're saying, this won't be the first time that we're going to see such action because NATO has started to say, listen, these drones are really becoming far more dangerous.
What we're still waiting to find out, though, Heather, is...
Was there any damage caused when this drone was shot down?
That's what they've always said is the problem when you shoot down drones is there are explosives on these drones.
No one quite sure where they're going to land, how they're going to land.
So we're still waiting for news on that.
Yes, I mean, it really is a time when there's increasing evidence that Russian satellites are jamming GPS signals right across Europe.
It shows, of course, the enormous vulnerabilities to those technologies, which we use absolutely day in, day out.
Don't give another thought to it.
But this is really starting to concern actually the whole of Europe because we've had incidents...
Was it just last week?
UK Defence Secretary, he was on his way back to the UK from Estonia.
The signals were jammed on his RAF jet.
We've had an incident last week, which they claim was caused by the Russians knocking a Ukrainian drone off course.
It ended up exploding over a Romanian port.
So those are the sort of concerns that there are for the military side.
