So I have a 13-year-old and a 10-year-old.

My 13-year-old is my son who I find that I have the biggest challenge with.

He struggles a lot with impulse control with his phone.

And even though when he got his phone about a year and a half ago, we put a contract in place and we adhered to it pretty well.

The last couple of years, I've been struggling with breast cancer.

And in that time, I was not able to monitor it in the same way that I used to.

And I think he started using his phone as an emotional support buddy almost.

And what I have found is that he is not able to self-regulate even around the rules.

And even though he cognitively can say, okay, mom, I'm going to put it down.
