So after I lost my mom, you know, I didn't even want to live. I mean, I had no experience in writing. I had nothing. no degree in journalism, but I did have a heart that wanted to help people. So I started writing a newspaper column. And it's still been in the paper after all these years. It's been in like literally half my life.

So, yeah, I mean, through the years, it's crazy because I've gotten so many beautiful letters through the years from people that have read the column and the books to just help them overcome if they've been through a tragedy or loss. But they're inspirational books.
