And the minute he disappears, I'm like, man, bring back Skeletor.
Yeah.
So I think even if you look at the story buying, the screenplay credits, and how much they spent on this movie, I think it was like $200 million.
I do think Amazon...
And all of the creators were like, yo, we need to make this work.
And I think the things about the movie that are successful hold it back, which is like, they have writers from the MCU in different corners.
Like, if you look at the credits, you're like, oh, these are people who know how to make IP storytelling.
And you can see how much the movie is like, okay, we need to start with just describing what this world is.
Because if we do not describe it, it will make no sense.
And then we're like, oh, we're going to do the Thor thing where he goes to Earth.
So then we can kind of like have the audience settle into some type of reality.
And it's like they wear their inspirations on their sleeve where there's Thor, there's Guardians of the Galaxy, there's Barbie, there's Dungeons and Dragons.
And I think that's maybe where the movie lost me a little bit, where I was like, you guys made the best version of something that is so indebted to things I like more.
So it's the thing that works about the movie, but I don't know if it ever, like, pole vaults over the influences.
Yeah.
Like, I think that was where I was like, cause I liked the Ragnarok parts of the movie.
And I also like the Thor Ant-Man parts of the movie, but sometimes I was like, Oh, the whiplash of going from this.
Yeah.
But then it would be like Skeletor would walk in and one of the funniest parts of the movie is like it starts getting like trippy and meta and Skeletor is like in the office.
Like when Battle Cat comes at the end of the movie, I was just like, oh, wait, where was Battle Cat?
