Who are they fucking fighting?
do anything they just sit there laugh maniacally like when I say this is like an episode of Clone Wars where I'm like that works for a Cartoon Network TV show for a two and a half hour movie I do want to feel like if Mando is the baddest motherfucker in the galaxy he's facing someone that like even if we know he's gonna be alright I do wanna have that feeling of like shit how is Mando gonna get out of this one so write it write it tell me what you would've wanted to see
I would have wanted in my villain, and I think this is all great villains, for whatever the villain wants to demonstrate, it's a reflection or an inverse of what the hero wants.
I think the reason Darth Vader works very, very well is that he's imposing and black.
He barely talks.
He breathes heavy.
He wants order.
He's a totalitarian.
Where it's like Luke is this farm boy in the Rebels, they want freedom.
they want a little bit more chaos.
They don't want everything to be black and white.
And you're just like, you can understand that very, very easily.
In this movie, when Mando is fighting against the twins, it's muddled.
They're like, oh, well, they want to kill Radha because that's their nephew and they want to claim to the throne.
You're like, okay, but we don't see them really doing any criminal shit.
We don't even see what their syndicate shit is about.
So instead, you just kind of have like some cardboard cutouts.
And that's like, okay, if it's a children's movie, I'm not going to like ding it that much.
But I'm like, yeah, I would have wanted to see the inverse of Mando.
Who was the person in the galaxy who was like, hey, Mando and Grogu, you stand for this.
