I'm happy to be on here.
Our team in the Sioux is very close and we're making a playoff push here and we're having a really good time.
I definitely say building my relationship with God and keeping a close relationship with my younger brother and my family at home has definitely helped.
Having them as my backbone and
being able to do everything through them.
I definitely say offense comes pretty naturally to my game.
The big area focused was
to clean up the defensive side of the game, and I feel like I've done a really good job at that, becoming more of a two-way defenseman.
I wouldn't say necessarily watching any players.
I was a forward when I was young and then switched back to defense, and I always loved scoring goals, so...
Yeah, I feel like I've done a lot better job with my skating and pluck retrievals and
things like that in the d zone and making sure that i'm finding my box outs in front of the net um yeah i just feel like all around i've became a lot more defensive well you mentioned the skating and it's one of those things that just pops off when we watch you play how natural has that come to and how much work have you put in to be an excellent skater yeah it definitely takes a lot of work to get uh get all the strides figured out and things like that but
power skating definitely helped and skating's always been a strong suit in my game so just keep working until it can be perfect so what was the best piece of advice you've been given this year for you know just preparing for like what this season kind of is as you get ready for the draft yeah one thing our head coach John Dean told me was to maybe focus on scoring some goals for myself and not always looking for a play so that definitely helped me too
Yeah, I'd say definitely.
I've learned calculated risks have definitely, definitely had to make a call throughout the year, but just making sure that the offense comes second.
Yeah, it definitely takes hard work.
It takes a full team of 20 however many guys to be pulling on the same rope and want to win.
