It's been a pretty special day, so I appreciate reaching out and everything.

So, yeah, thanks.

Yeah, you know, like you said there, I've been with Alistair for five years now.

So, you know, two seasons ago, being able to win was special.

And, yeah, you know, all the work feels like it's, you know, kind of paid off now getting this contract.

And I'm excited to obviously get to work and, you know –

Yeah, just excited to be a part of the Canucks organization, and everything over the past five years has been great, and I'm looking forward to the future.

You know, like you kind of said, I've always been a team first guy, and it's just a super special feeling.

It's, you know, something I'm very proud of, and, you know, kind of, like you said, I've been the captain in Abbotsford for four seasons now, and, you know, just seeing a lot of players and a lot of coaches and staff that have helped me throughout that time, and, you know, to be able to, like you said, sign my first NHL deal, you know, everyone's journey is a little different to,

to get to that point.

And, you know, uh, just at the end of the day, it's about hard work and perseverance.

And I, you know, I believe that's been a big part of what's, what's gotten me to this point in my career.

And I'm, uh, yeah, just super, super grateful and excited for, for what's ahead.

And, you know, he's really helped me get to the point that I'm at right now and believes in me and has shown, you know, that trust.
