He's, you know, he's very open door.
He's always laid out conversation and, you know, I'm, like I said, I'm excited to get to work with him and I'm sure, I'm sure all the guys in Vancouver are as well because, you know, he's a, he's a great coach and, and yeah, it's exciting.
Yeah, you know, I think I remember going through that process myself and obviously not being drafted is what's the word I'm looking for.
It's, you know, disappointing a little bit on the day because you're looking forward to it and you're excited for what's ahead and then obviously to have that little setback, a little adversity.
But, I mean, there's β and, I mean, not even myself included, but there's a ton of examples of players that have, you know,
excelled beyond being drafted and there's you know like I kind of said earlier in when we were talking that everyone's path to get to the NHL is different and you know there's there's a ton of examples and great players out there that were never drafted that you know have moved on had great professional careers whether that's American League or playing the NHL winning winning the Stanley Cup there's there's numerous numerous players that have done it and
You know, it's just kind of that extra motivation that can, you know, maybe put you ahead and give you a little bit more motivation to move forward because, you know, the draft is obviously special for everyone that gets drafted, but if you aren't drafted at the end of the day, it's definitely not the end of your road or the end of your path.
you know, Alex and, and then our Steve the year later, but kind of all came in undrafted and, you know, just all the hard work that goes into it and, you know, stick into the process and just that, I guess that belief.
And yeah, I mean, all of us are still playing and there's definitely, like I said, a lot of examples out there that are in there that have went through the same, same path that we've went through that, you know, it's, it's, it's important to,
It's obviously super important.
The community does a lot for us, especially in a town like Abbotsford.
They've always rallied around the team, and so every chance we're able to give back or show an appearance anywhere in the city is amazing.
It's a huge part of... It's fun.
I enjoy getting out there and doing different things, meeting new people.
It's a little bit... It's an enjoyment, and I know
but a lot of my teammates in Astrid feel that same way.
And, you know, we're, uh, obviously with, uh, you know, with the way Ryan and Daniel and Henrik are, there'll be a lot of that in Vancouver too.
And I'm, you know, looking forward to that and for the guys there are as well.
It's, uh, yeah, it's definitely a huge, huge, uh, impact on, on the community and, you know, they're, they're always there for us.
So everything we can to give back always helps.
