And it makes us feel embarrassed about stuff that's really, really basic and normal.
Which one cause painful sex?
Absolutely don't put up with it.
Sex should be really pleasurable, really fun, a really lovely part of a relationship.
You do not need to put up with painful sex.

And it can be really scary, but mostly it's not cancer.
