I was happy to see this article go around as sad as it is. I think when we talk about this, we often talk about, oh, there's all these layoffs. Oh my gosh, all these devs are out of work, blah, blah, blah. And we do that thing where, oh my God, 300 people got laid off. Oh, the studio closed. And you don't get those personal touches, those personal storylines.

And obviously, social media is so fractured these days and so deep and distant in a lot of different ways. If you're not following these people or game developers who are retweeting it, you'd never see these stories. So it's a nice... It's bittersweet, of course, but it's nice to see human names, emotions and reactions put to this. As we've talked about it for so long, I think,

Layoffs are sadly part of video games and that's a big issue the industry needs to fix and figure out.

Being able to see people share it though and mourn it together and talk about what this game is slash was, I think that's important and special for their healing process, let alone for us who really had nothing to go off of based on or other than what EA had talked about before when it was stuff like Kyle Stevens that said this little bit here or something like that.

Yeah, for Sophie to come in here, write a Black Panther ARPG developed by the creators of the Nemesis system, like... What a great way to immediately sell it to a bunch of different people that, sadly, you'll never get to see. But again, start talking about what it is, let alone these details from Jordan.

Do you like what you're hearing? Would you have bought this game? What don't you like about it? What do you like about it? 1949 Hydra War, which is the Captain America Black Panther game, where you're not playing as T'Challa, right? And then to find out that the EA game also would have had us not playing as T'Challa, you assume for most of it, I assume.

If there's multiple player characters at the end, maybe somewhere in the middle, you have to go save your son, right? And redawn the Black Panther mantle. I think it's a really cool setup. The Skrull Invasion is a nice thing on it.

I like reading about this game and having it not be something we know incredibly well or something that I feel like is just replaying the movie or tying it to another superhero necessarily. Really going in and trying to etch out your own thing in the Black Panther mythos, which of course is so deep.
