And so this blog got pretty big and one of the readers of my blog sent me an email saying, hey, I would love to be able to have like audio of your blog.
And I went, I guess I'll start a YouTube channel.
And so I started this YouTube channel and obviously became famous
un-anonymous and that kind of blew up and I then started Facebook and Instagram and just kind of the whole kit and caboodle.
It kind of, everything that I'm doing now happened very unplanned.
Unplanned, yeah.
People ask me this question all the time and I never have a good answer for it because
Being autistic, I've acted my entire life.
In order to fit in and in order to survive, I've had to play pretend.
And that's why I think autistic people are really incredible actors, because we've been doing it our entire lives.
I grew up in a very tiny town, so acting opportunities weren't really that common.
So my acting experience was mostly like the yearly community play that would get put on.
But I knew I loved it.
I knew I loved acting.
I would learn monologues in my bedroom every night and show them to my mom and dad.
And I told them that I wanted to be an actor more than anything in the entire world.
And so I used to live in this town that was like an eight-hour round trip out of the city.
And most weekends my dad would take me on this round trip.
to the city so I could go to acting classes, so I could go to auditions, so I could go to rehearsals, so I could do this one thing that brought me so much joy.
And I got my first manager when I was 18 and did some short films and then landed heartbreak during COVID.
