I was nine.
Okay.
It was cool.
It was my first international competition.
Wow.
And I was like 15 and under was the age.
I know.
I feel like this is a very common question and I love the idea about like you know I love the idea at the same time though I don't think I would say anything and I think that's also a very common response because not that it's a bad question or anything I think it's more so just I became who I am because of everything I experienced in the way that I did yeah and I don't think
I would change anything about my journey to get here.
I think everything that I injured, whether it be amazing or incredibly difficult, was all meant to be.
And I think that's how I learned to navigate such difficult moments in my life.
I think sport is one of the greatest lessons.
And, you know, I am so grateful that I got to grow in a sport and go through some really intense moments at such a young age because now I feel like I can get through whatever and accomplish whatever I put my mind to.
Hmm.
My dad's taught me a lot.
And I think very common in Asian families, but dads typically tend to be a bit more emotionally distant.
And that's where we butt heads the most.
Yeah, because I would just be having a bad day, whatever.
And he would just be so frustrating to me.
And like, my dad's such a talker.
