So I love ham.
All right, don't get me wrong.
I did not try ham.
I never tasted ham for the first time until I was 16 years old.
What the hell?
That's crazy.
That seems impossible to me.
I'm growing up.
People are having ham and cheese sandwiches, you know, whatever else you're doing with yourβ And hold on.
You're sitting there like, oh, I wish I could have some.
It never occurred to me even to have it.
I just know this is not something that we have ever had in my house.
Just like growing up, I never had soda in my house, okay?
This is something that we never had in my house, ham.
And I know that we didn't have it in my house because we're Jewish and it's just a thing that we don't eat.
And I never, ever tried it before.
Never even thought about it, to be honest.
All right.
And then at 16 years old, my parents got divorced.
And my father moved out and he got his own place and I was at his place one time and he's making a sandwich and he pulls ham, deli meat ham, you know, out of the fridge.
