Tell me what you do in the seventh, eighth, and ninth inning, and I'll tell you how good a baseball team you are.
This team is the best team in baseball in the seventh, eighth, and ninth inning.
I mean, not to be negative on June 1st, but do I have an option?
Because Michael Penix's health is always going to be a question.
Tua's head shots are going to be a question.
But unless Michael Penix is on the field really for the month of August, I think Tua has an advantage.
Now, you can rehab and you can do light drills and you can pull back and have the penny on, you know, with no contact and pull back from center.
This staff seems a little bit more adult than the last two that have been here.
I think it feels really good in that department that when you hear players talk, it even seems they sound, I don't want to say more intelligent, but they sound more in line with what you want your football team to sound like.
So I think the regime change, I think the top-to-bottom change was going to be a good thing no matter what.
I think a quarterback, they have no emotional investment in either one of these guys.
They hardly have any financial investment.
I think it's Tua's chance to maybe start August 1st, take hits, play a couple of preseason games, and maybe win the job.
But if Michael Penix is as healthy as everybody keeps sort of indicating he is, and again, it's just shorts and t-shirt health.
The problem is Michael Penix hasn't been a very good quarterback when he's been healthy.
