There's a Saddam Hussein car there.

They fucking used it.
It's got blood inside it.
The GT4 racing category has been a caiman until now.
I think GT4 racing is getting bigger and they'd rather it was in a 911 shell.
So it means they probably do need to homologate the car and make one.
I've not got my ears to the ground on it.
I'm not much of a newshound.

But it reminds you that Porsche names its cars after racing categories, and therefore it doesn't.
emotionally doesn't really own the category.
And if the category decides one day it's going to be about fish and horses, they're a bit iron dry.
They've either got them to say, we named it ourselves.
But really, all GT4 cars are GT4 cars.
They're nothing else.
Porsche decided it made sense 10 years ago when they started doing this, that its GT4 contender would be based on the Cayman.
But it never really competed.
