It's positively, you know, anachronistic.
And it goes on and on and on.
So that's what I was doing.
Mostly that was what I was doing during the period from when she died to the funeral was just dealing with paperwork day in, day out.
And nobody tells you that that's coming your way, I can assure you.
I wanted to give her iPhone to somebody that needs a new iPhone because her iPhone is pretty up to date.
But of course, first of all, I wanted to wipe it.
And the one thing, the one password I didn't have was her Apple ID password or whatever password is necessary to do the wiping.
Because these days, because phones are stolen all the time, Apple won't let you do a simple wipe without entering whatever password is necessary.
And Apple asked me for a death certificate in order to be able to wipe the iPhone.
You do.
Absolutely.
And I always chuckled.
I mean, the way I describe it, and I know it's not literally like this, is that in Ireland, in fact, you have two funerals.
You have the removal and then the actual ceremony, which in my head always amounted to two separate ceremonies connected, obviously.
As I say, we have the one funeral here, you know, many, many weeks after somebody has died.
And so it's a very different experience.
And you get the same.
Yes.
That doesn't happen here.
