not drink too much, get plenty of exercise.

The one thing for somebody like me that I would advise myself, if not anybody else, is don't ruminate.

And that's the three o'clock in the morning thing, of course, in part.

Well, for me, it's been going out on very long, I call them yomps.

They're country walks that involve reasonable hill climbs, getting hot and sweaty.

That, for me, more than anything, stops me from ruminating, gets me out of my head.

And, you know, I'm probably doing it to excess now.

I walked 15 kilometers yesterday, for example, in the morning.

That's a typical morning for me these days.

I've lost a lot of weight as a result of a combination of, certainly in the first couple of months, I hardly ate anything, which is stupid.

I've stopped losing weight.

So I had weight to lose because my experience of the 13 months that my wife was sick was that the day she got diagnosed, I became her carer and everything that I did for myself stopped.

That included the exercise.

I ate badly.

I drank too much and put on a ton of weight.

So I had it to lose, but I have lost it.

I'm back to the weight I was when I was in my 20s.

Yeah, which for me is quite something, I can assure you.

And that was one of the first things that went with me, because if you'd seen me this day last week, I had a full beard.

My wife died on February the 14th and the funeral was on March the 25th.
