That deal is perhaps the most substantive remark that Luntz made there.
It's not a deal.
It's a memorandum of understanding.
This thing that they are talking about is a one-page document.
Now, the other agreement with Iran that was reached under Obama...
over their nuclear materials, enhanced missile, whatever program, ran to hundreds of pages and took years to negotiate.
This is about a one-page document, an MOU, and they're still rowing about a one-page document.
And this one-page document essentially amounts to Trump's surrender to Iran.
And I think we should all keep sight of that simple fact.
This is Trump saying, I surrender, because the Iranians are going to get everything that they want.
They may make some vague remarks about we'll talk in the future.
This is what the MOU will eventually come up with if it comes up with anything.
which is the Iranians will agree to talk about the enhanced enriched uranium.
They will not, in this memorandum of understanding, agree to hand it over.
So there will be charges on tankers going through the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iranians will get everything that they want and Trump will get absolutely nothing.
And all of these lives lost, all of these billions spent will have been for absolute nothing, which is why it's really interesting that the hardliners in the Republican Party,
are saying, hang on a minute, surrender is not something we do, is it?
Absolutely.
And I think the way in which they mastered the art of the deal was by never reading that book, ghostwritten by anybody else.
