So, you know, you could tell me, well, we're going to be better defensively now with Marcus Simeon at second base.

And we have changed the locker room and the culture by getting rid of Nimmo because him and Lindor didn't necessarily see eye to eye.

And maybe Lindor and Soto now, or maybe Lindor's now off this team.

And I could see the reports that, you know, he doesn't really believe in stars.

He believes in grinders.

Well, I'll tell you this.

This is New York City, not Milwaukee.

And, you know, you could appreciate, and I'll give Stearns an opportunity to go out there and give himself the time to be able to build this team.

But last year the team was built on where the offense was going to make up for the deficiency in the pitching staff.

And you could tell me all you want that Marcus Simeon is a plus defender at second base.

Is this team now all of a sudden going to be built on run prevention?

When you're looking at this group, you've got to give them time to develop it.

You know, Devin Williams was not particularly good as a Yankee.

Now he's going to be with the New York Mets.

And now he can grow the facial hair and there's got to be no change in hair policy like the Yankees did last offseason to, you know, go out there and pacify one player.
