How are they all coping with this?

It's got to be the most difficult thing anyone's ever gone through, ever.

Yeah, I mean, I think in different ways, people process that kind of trauma differently.

You know, I don't know.

He lives in Colorado, but he was back in Australia when they were killed.

And I met him really late one night in Bondi.

It's pretty inspiring stuff when you can speak to someone that can speak so passionately about how their parents were killed, but how proud he was of them.

And it brings home the reality of how horrible this crime was.

But even in the midst of all that evil and sadness, there's some remarkable Australians that did some incredible things.

Absolutely.

No, but he's a proper hero.

I mean, he's still got bullets in him.

I think he was saying on social media yesterday that he's still under attack for being such a hero, but we've got to rally around him.

Who's attacking him?

You mean from people who agree with the offender's ideologies?

Those types.

Yeah, I think so.

That's what he's saying.

What I love the most about him was he's a Muslim man who interjected and has told everyone, this is not the Muslim faith.
