I don't think her parents directly caused her disappearances, and I don't think they abducted her, murdered her, or anything like that. But I would not be remotely surprised if her disappearance, especially after the conversation we had with Nick, Missing Enigma, if you're watching this right now, it was probably four episodes ago at this point.

But it's whatever the most recent episode with Missing Enigma is to this episode of the show. he dug up some stuff on training that even we hadn't found. And it seems very likely that her home situation was not great. And that may have either made her run away or made her vulnerable to being taken advantage of. And unfortunately, I think possibly killed.

Yeah, like Evangeline Lorimer, it almost seemed like it was a planned disappearance in order to sell tickets to her father's Christian speaking tour. Her dad was a... I don't know what the right term to use is. Christian grifter? Yeah. Yeah. Not necessarily even grifter. It seems like he was just kind of nuts. Did you think he was like a prophet?

He was put into a psych ward for religious paranoia or something. Yep, I'm remembering this now. So I think he may have just been a little off his rocker there. This is the 50s, so... you know, a lot of different, uh, different things that you could get in trouble for back then, I guess. Um, also, I mean, he, he also hit his wife with like a garden hose or something. Cool. Yeah.

That's a great way to treat your spouse. Yeah. Well, they, they got divorced after that.

Because I went, what kind of man who works out of his pickup truck? Doesn't know what year it is.

Yeah, I mean, like, I could get it. You bought your pickup secondhand just because it was a good deal and you don't know. This guy worked construction. He knows what year make model pickup truck he has. He probably knows the trim level. Yeah, he knows the trim level. In fact, he has to. There's no way he doesn't. So, Chris, stop. Stop the lies.

I mean, a man like him probably needs a big truck to compensate. So... Oh. You don't go through five wives when you've got a big truck, if you know what I'm saying.
