I think in no place is that more apparent than in this story of just sort of, Dunk doesn't have the words.
Egg has the words.
Egg is puny.
Dunk is tall, you know?
And it's very much a, did you ever see the movie The Mighty?
It's like a movie in the 90s, I think it was.
Anyway, just like this sort of collision of like,
the small and fragile and super smart and the tall and like a little less, you know, intellectually sharp or whatever and sort of how they can help each other navigate the world.
And I just think that that dynamic is so sweet.
And they're just like, if, you know, it's early days, but if Sir Dunk the Lunk came up to me and said, that kid Egg is my best friend, I 100% believe it.
And I think it's just like really, really sweet.
And you'd say, well, what about Sweetfoot?
Maybe like sold them.
He only says it thrice, and you've already outstripped him.
Yeah, I brought this up on Talk of Thrones as, like, my favorite part of the episode, that we get this sort of, like, opening...
contrast with the closing of... So we're watching this episode dunk go from yes, like, boosting Sir Arlen's rep in order to get someone to vouch for him, but also I think this is how he thinks of him.
He was a great knight, right?
And then by the end of the episode, he's like, well, great knights don't die in the dirt on the side of the road, do they?
