We're starting overseas and there are reports that the US and Iran are inching towards a 14-point plan to end the war.
Iran says it's reviewing the US's latest proposal passed through Pakistani mediators, which would first end the fighting, then open up talks on the Strait of Hormuz, lifting sanctions and curbing Iran's nuclear program.
Meantime, Israel is continuing its bombardment of Lebanon with an airstrike this morning hitting the southern suburbs of Beirut for the first time in weeks.
Israel says it's responding to Hezbollah attacks on its troops, who are still occupying parts of southern Lebanon in breach of the ceasefire.
Israeli strikes are believed to have killed more than 2,700 people in Lebanon since March, while Israel says it's lost 17 soldiers and a civilian contractor.
Now, a passenger who had already left the MV Hondias has tested positive at home in Switzerland after the cruise operator emailed people who had been on board about the spreading illness.
The man's infection brings the total number of suspected cases to eight cases, with five people confirmed to be infected after lab tests.
Three people have died and three others are seriously ill.
