Like, if you're not fighting for the title, like, you're not really getting a push.
I'm paraphrasing here, but that's basically what he said.
And it's true.
When you look at it, if you look at the title picture right now or the main event picture right now, there's four, five, six guys, four, five, six women, and that's it.
And even people that could be contending in the main event aren't right now.
Becky Lynch is a perfect example of that.
She's made the Intercontinental Championship four,
feel like it means a lot.
John Cena did a great job of that with the US title.
And I'm by no means saying that John Cena is a mid-carder or that Becky Lynch is a mid-carder, but I think we can all agree those are mid-card titles.
So when we're thinking here about a mid-card Mount Rushmore,
We're really talking here about who made the mid-card feel important.
Who makes the mid-card feel important?
We're not talking about people who were great mid-carders and then escaped the mid-card to become a main eventer.
We're talking about people who, through and through, they're mid-carders.
They did not win a world title in a major company.
Maybe they had matches for world titles, but they never became a world champion in a major company.
So four people here.
I'm going to kick things off with Scott Hall.
Because as Razor Ramon, he defined in the mid-90s the WWF mid-card and just the cool factor of it.
