And there was suddenly groups of friends sort of became shareholder, sorry, share investing clubs.
And there was a huge bubble and they're all giving, like getting tips off each other.
It's very dangerous.
And, but people deep down, I think humans do want some excitement with your investing because it's their money.
And if it just, if they get a statement every three months from KiwiSaver or like a fund update,
And they're like, oh yeah, cool.
It doesn't feel as fancy as some of the stuff you see on TikTok.
Be very wary of that stuff.
It doesn't.
Stock picks are
a final stock tips and you see the stuff on wall street bets it is really awful and scary to see people with terrible leverage and it's like oh i owe robin hood 300 grand we've seen this with crypto as well people borrowing money to invest there's been some the dark stuff posted when the share uh when the price of bitcoins dropped
But then, yeah, the fact is actively managed funds, you know, they, you look at the likes of Milford and that's been successful, but then you look at Fisher funds and that's all over the news.
And, um, people should just have a look at why, like basically Google, why is Fisher funds in the news?
Because things can't always last forever in some sense.
