And so it tries to, I say tries to, explore that trouble dynamic.

And we're not really spoiling anything here.
All of this stuff really happened.
But the story does wrap up in this film in 1984 when Michael Jackson decided, that's it.
I'm finished with the brothers now.
This is our last tour and I'm going to go off and do my own thing.
But there is a tacked on bit in 1988 that closes the film with a reconstructed concert footage of the Bad Tour in London.
Now, again, this isn't a spoiler.
This thing has been reported all over the world over the last few days that the film doesn't end with a to be continued, but it ends with the words, his story continues.
Now, that kind of made me laugh.
It's open to interpretation.
And I think what the filmmakers are trying to say is, yes, we know we didn't get to any of the stuff that potentially we should have.
That should be included in a story about Michael Jackson.
But it also leaves it open for them to say, if this thing is a hit, we'll give you the rest of that story.
There is, yeah.
There was a version of this film that was four hours long and that was going to cover it.
It wasn't just Michael from 66 to 84.
