And I commend them for that.

Because they got these billionaires that could just stick it in their pocket.

And they're like, nope, we're going to go out there and we're going to try to win.

We're going to put more stars on this team.

And so the Yankees are literally, they're waiting.

They're waiting for a coupon to come in for Cody Bellinger.

Waiting on it.

They're by the mailbox every day.

Flipping up the lid.

Coupon didn't come today.

We'll wait till tomorrow.

What they're really waiting for is somebody to come in and be stupid and give him the deal that he wants.

Or they're waiting for the Mets to just blow him out of the water with the AAV over two or three years.

Because that's what's going to happen.

And I get it from the Yankees' perspective.

They don't have to go above what they already did.

Now, I mean, more than fair, five for 160 with two opt-outs.

More than fair.

I mean, the ink should be dry on that contract already, and we should be talking about other things right now.
