I'm talking like an 800 OPS, you know, that type of hitter, no errors, sparkling defense, being a catalyst like he was yesterday at the bottom of the lineup.
Like if he's low 700s, you know, that might even still be enough for the Yankees to say, all right, we're just going to stick Volpe there.
He has to be like borderline all-star because the Yankees don't want to have to talk about this with Anthony Volpe.
And for one night, you know, you felt really good about it.
When's the last time you had Didi Gregorius in 2019 or 2018, whenever you said you feel really good about the Yankees shortstop?
Again, it's one game.
You know, Cabby hasn't proven to be an everyday player, but maybe, you know, change of scenery, Yankees unlock something.
These things do happen.
Guys progress at different rates.
