He's your ace going into the season.
But can he handle the workload back-to-back years?
Question mark.
But he's there.
You have Garrett Cole coming back hopefully by the beginning point of June, which is already a little bit scary because he had the brace procedure last
which gets these guys on the field faster.
And he had his Tommy John surgery coming up on about a year now, and he needs additional time.
But hopefully you get Garrett Cole through June, July, August, and by September, October, he's Garrett Cole, he's ready to go.
But you're going to be missing Garrett Cole for the first two months on the field and probably two months after that getting him ramped up.
So you hope he's healthy by the end of August, but also question mark.
Will Warren, I think, honestly, this is the craziest thing to say.
I think Will Warren is the biggest given in this rotation, given where his baseline is, being a fourth or fifth starter, a guy that pitches in a low four ERA, and he's already reached the innings in 2025 that you feel comfortable throwing him out there again in 2026.
So you have Will Warren also.
You have Luis Gil.
Again, when he's healthy, he's great.
Can he be healthy?
But again, now you're at four starters.
You have Carlos Rodon also coming back probably by the end of April here because he was at the Baseball Writers Award dinner on Saturday.
And he said he's hoping to make some spring training starts, which is a good sign if he's starting games in spring training to get him on the field sooner rather than later.
