I'm not saying the postseason is Aaron Judge's kryptonite, but as we've seen, he's shown up in certain postseasons, he's shown up in certain moments, he's shown up in certain series, and then he has it in others.
Statistically, he's a very good postseason player, whether you want to believe it or not.
The 822 OPS would suggest that.
And the Yankees had seven guys in their lineup that were 822 OPSs in the postseason.
We wouldn't be talking about not winning world championships since 2009.
He needs that one A-Rod postseason, and he was damn near on his way to doing it last year.
The team just couldn't, they just did not have the support and cast last year to do it.
I do not want to spend the entire last season of NYYST defending Aaron Judge from low IQ morons.
I will not do it.
And this is the last time I'm going to bring this up.
So I don't care if you're somebody with the platform of Stephen A. Smith or you just broke out your microphone and your camera yesterday and you have one follower.
Shut your mouth about Aaron Judge.
This is the best hitter we have seen in a generation.
The guy's going to the Hall of Fame on roller skates.
If it wasn't for a wall and dumb voters, he'd be a five-time MVP.
And people just want his legacy to be a drop-fly ball in Game 5.
Shut up.
I don't want to be the guy that always has to defend Aaron Judge, but if nobody else wants to do it, I'll gladly step up to the plate and do it.
He's too damn good.
Fans forget quickly what the Yankees looked like in 2023 after he ran into that wall.
