I'm going to call him David Weathers for his entire time here with the Yankees.

Look, I'll just say this quickly and as simply as possible.

Do I hate to move...

No, from the standpoint of this guy, a lot of people in baseball like him.

They like his stuff.

He could be a potential breakout candidate.

He can start.

And then when everybody's healthy, you got a lefty that throws 99 coming out of the bullpen.

I don't hate it.

They gave up quantity over quality in terms of prospects.

He's under team control until 2029.

It's a fine move.

The problem is it's just a typical Yankee move here where they don't go out and spend anything big in terms of prospects.
